Update on 1100 Elder:

UPDATE: January 21, 2011

Dear Ecclesia Family,

It's been just over 4 weeks since we've closed on the property at 1100 Elder and already we're seeing so much progress as many faithful volunteers have made themselves available to join in on a variety of demolition and restoration projects. If you have not had the chance to see this new space, we hope that you will make it a priority.

In these few weeks we have seen a visible transformation as this old warehouse is being restored to its natural beauty. We'll continue to peel back many layers of this building, revealing beautiful interior brick walls, extravagant steel framed windows, a remarkable red brick exterior and so much more! We are discovering more with every day, Ecclesia, that this new home will provide much in our ability to function as an open door, a place of dignity and hospitality, and to be a home for those seeking and for those who've found rescue in the love of our Liberating King.

There is yet much to do as we finalize the drawings for our intended use and coordinate the details of our full renovation of this space. We invite you to be a part of all the work that remains, to contribute financially to the funds necessary to complete this task, and to pray and seek the Lord as he leads us down this path.
